Name and Psychological Type, Planes of Expression

There is a very special connection between a person and the name given to them at birth. This may sound paradoxical, but when you were first called by name, you received a set of qualities that determined the traits of your character, peculiarities of temperament, type of reactions and, consequently, distinctive features of the forthcoming movement through life – once and forever.

Psychological Type

It is commonly known that a person's full name by its sound alone can indicate potential strength of spirit, aggressiveness, peacefulness, and sometimes even a potential genius.

It is not the sound though that determines the psychological type of personality. Full information of what we will become is contained in the numerical values of the letters of our names. It does not matter if your name is long or short. Whatever your name is – Lee Dow, Maximilian Guggenheim, Eve Hill or Adelaide Anderson – in each case, the name contains more than enough letters to get all the necessary information to find out which personality type you truly belong to.

Numerological analysis of the letters of your full name will enable you to identify the area of opportunities most favorable for you and determine the direction and tempo of your movement through life. You will learn everything about the mission you are to accomplish and the natural gifts given to you to fulfill your calling.

The first stage of calculations involves actions, which are well-known to you: by using the chart find the numerical value of all letters of your full name. But in this case you do not need to add them in any way – you need to know the meaning of each separate letter to identify your psychological type.

Planes of Expression

Everybody's personality is formed on the basis of four components. They are body, mind, soul and spirit. Theoretically and ideally, the influence of these four facets of personality should be equivalent. But in practice, such equivalence is very rare. One or two components of personality are always expressed more than the others. In Numerology, the degree of presence of each component in a person's character and the degree of their influence on our mind are called Planes of Expression.

Our body represents Physical Plane of Expression. It controls our reactions to everything visible and tangible, everything real around us. Physical Plane of Expression represents our reflexes, our ability to react to everything using common sense that will navigate us through life.

Intelligence stands for Mental Plane of Expression. It is responsible for logic and clear thinking, the ability to make an adequate assessment and comprehend everything that happens to us. Mental Plane shapes will and self-confidence.

The person's soul is Emotional Plane of Expression. It is in charge of our feelings, imaginative power, the ability to love and hate. Our giftedness and creativity directly depend on the intensity of Emotional Plane.

And, finally, our spirit is represented by Intuitive Plane of Expression. Everything that exists in our life but defies logical understanding, our ability to see everything that we are unable to see with our eyes and make decisions relying on intuition and inner knowledge belong to this Plane.

Calculation of Planes of Expression

Now let us return to the numbers of the full name letters.

The fours and fives that you got after you had transformed the letters of the name into numbers determine the intensity of your Physical Plane. The thing is, the Four is a person of "know-how", a practical person whose logical thinking helps them to know for sure what, how and why should be done in this or that situation. The Five has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and in the first place they are interested in the material aspect of life, something that they can really own.

Numbers 1 and 8 belong to Mental Plane of Expression. The one stands for intelligence that enables it to achieve a desired result, while the eight represents rationality, the ability to control any process up to the tiniest detail.

Numbers 2, 3 and 6 belong to Emotional Plane of Expression. The Two, the Three and the Six are people whose world is governed by feelings. All of them are capable of compassion and take everything that happens with others very emotionally.

The Seven and the Nine are people of the Intuitive Plane. The Seven is a wise man whose attitude to life is based on inner thinking. And the Nine can be called "an impressionist of the reality" as all their reactions are directed by immediate impressions.

Therefore, you only have to arrange the numbers corresponding to the letters of you full name according to the chart based on this classification. Once you do it, you will clearly see what Plane of Expression is the least promising for you and what qualities you should rely on first and foremost.

Practice

Let me give you a few examples for illustration. I will take an arbitrary combination of the first name, middle name and surname.

Let it be Jacqueline Dinah Thompson. If we replace the letters with the corresponding numbers from the chart, we will get the following sequence of numbers:

Now we arrange these numbers according to the Planes of Expression:

Now it is evident that logic, rationality, practicality and curiosity are expressed in Dinah's character with equal strength. Everything is also fine with feelings. There is only one number two, which indicates a somewhat lacking peacefulness. Besides, Dinah relies on her intuition and inner vision only in extraordinary circumstances.

Another example: Leonard David Edwards.

A single glance at this sequence of numbers reveals an extremely practical man with strong analytical skills. But, still, let us follow the rules.

What else can be said? Edwards' Planes of Expression unequivocally demonstrate his constructive, practical orientation. The absence of the eights in the Mental Plane means that Edwards is likely to be an inventor who fails to control implementation of his ideas. His emotions are likely to be limited to warm relations with family members (if any), and in a conflict situation he will take up the gauntlet without considering the consequences. At the same time, he is very sensitive and, perhaps, also superstitious – it is the effect of the lack of sevens in Intuitive Plane.

And, finally, there is one significant detail. A small amount or even complete absence of numbers in one of the Expression Planes is by no means a sign of inferiority. This indicator is only an average standard. The calculation of Planes of Expression aims to identify dominating characteristics of the worldview determining the character.

Homework

Make a chart of your Planes of Expression. Take the results very seriously. It may turn out that inborn features of character put obstacles on the way you have chosen. Temperament cannot be changed. But you can change your direction.
